There seems to be nothing wrong with the hard drive or the SATA driver (that I can determine). Problem does occur when booting without loading startup programs. No errant processes were showing in the task manager. When I bought it, it ran amazingly fast. I have been trying to find some systematic way to troubleshoot this nuisance.
