Hopefully Microsoft will patch rdpclip one of these days and fix the problem permanently but until then I hope this will at least help a little bit. I uninstalled it and the copy/paste functions came back to normal!!! Just do this... i enable the run only specified windows application with the apps...

Some days I go fine as well, I can't pin point it exactly, but I'm sure something is preventing the commands and it's not actually the clipboard that is the problem. Delete the Skype add-in in IE and Firefox and the "cannot clear clipboard" error after a drag and drop goes away when IE and/or Firefox are running. What I'm trying to get at is that the solution (work around) could be as simple as closing a program and not going for the more advanced (sfc /scannow, system restore, Micro$oft still has not fixed the original problem, and probably never will.
