So you're probably going to be stuck doing a System Repair.Just insert your Vista disk, press any key to boot from CD when prompted, and follow the dialogue to start a I'LL NEVER INSTALL UPDATES AGAIN ON VISTA. When I checked yesterday the problem was still the same.
